Default turbo questions

i want to get atleast 200whp out of an streetable ls turbo. what do i need?

what is a good turbo manifold? and i was aiming towards a ball bearing t3/t4

For 200whp, you really don't need to go as large as a T4/T3. If you want BB turbo that size, I'd recommend the GT30R turbo. We have it for $995.00. As for the manifold, I'd go with the DRAG, Rev Hard, or Inline Pro manifolds. We have downpipes for those manifolds as well.

The GT30R is good up to 500whp.

hahah well that answers that question.

would i need a custom manifold and downpipe for that turbo? or do companies make them for that model.

my bud told me the gt30r is a t3/t4 with a different trim size or something like that.

should i build the engine? i was thinking just forged internals and maybe lower the compression

the gt30r is a whole different compresor wheel than the old t series. if you plan to up the boost in the future, i would go on ahead and build the motor, sleeves,pistons, rods. just as a precaution. not only that but when you turn up the boost (yes you will, no matter what you tell yourself) you dont have to worry. all of this with a good tune of course

please read up

hit the search button on top of the page and type in keywords like:
Ls turbo
turbo
b18b turbo
b18b

or anything else relavent. Just reading those searches should give you at least a month worth of reading. Read up a lot then ask questions if you are really really stuck on something...otherwise It's been covered before
