Default Turbo Question. What setup is good for daily driving.

I got a 92 civic with b16a1 in it. I woudl really love a turbo.I used to hav a 03 gti with a turbo and i really miss it. I was curious to know what turbo setup would be the best for a day to day commute. Im not looking for 600 hp, and i would be running a turbo at decent psi and woudl have stock internals. I dont know what numbers i would be looking to get, just enough to have a good bit of power on the road to beat up some hoes a little bit and have fun while i drive.

A smaller turbo, say a GT28RS, with a good fuel management, Neptune/Hondata, and a good tune. It will be loads of fun, super fast, and totally reliable.

That's what I had on my DD, was lots of fun, made crazy boost from about anywhere in the RPM range, made 380 WHP, was very reliable.

Im not really sure what needs to be done first to run a turbo setup and stuff. I came a Ford to a VW now to honda, so im still new to honda. Any suggestions of things to do and places to get these products would be great

Block guards are useless. Pistons and rods will also not be needed. Just shoot for about 300whp and with a good tune you should be fine.

Hell no, that was a fully built motor (RLZ) that cost a fortune. I'd keep under 300 on a good tune for stock internals if I wanted to stay reliable, but I'd still rock a GT28RS on it. Plus 380 WHP was too much for a GT28RS, we were running it way out of its efficiency range to get that.
