Any ideas? No intercooler-need a band aid.
Well I sold my intercooler and intercooler piping. I have a new setup going in the car. But I need to get my car out of storage and drive the car down to south for a 2 hour drive.
Any ideas how I can tie the compressor outlet to the throttle body so I can drive the car down south to get my new setup installed? Any ideas?

I wish I could do that, but I need my car there to make some measurements for the intercooler piping and new intercooler setup.

1. take the wastegate spring out so the turbo dont boost and retune the car for all motor(you have the aem it shouldnt take more that a few minutes to do it).
OR
2. run a vaccum line from the nipple on the compressor housing to the bottom port of the wastegaste. so when you getting on it(to switch lanes or whatever) when the turbo spools, it will spool more than the spring and retune the car for all motor

Home Depot sells dryer tube in different diameters Couple of hose clamps, some dryer tube... yeah baby. Just don't boost or you'll blow it apart, haha.

even free spinning on the turbo isnt smart.
tow the thing or take the measurements where it is. Or deal with the consequences later

Well, can't I just get some hose to connect the compressor to the throttle as if the car didn't have a intercooler. Then retune with my aem.
I am sure there is a way around it without hurtin the turbo.

This won't work, there won't be any pressure at the nipple because there's no restriction at the turbo outlet to make pressure. It'll have airflow, but no pressure.
Removing the spring from the wg should work fine, just don't drive dumb on the way down there and you'll be fine.

So I dont need to hook up the compressor to the throttle body. Just remove my wastegate spring?

I know you wont run the compressor to throttlebody.. But, just an idea, PVC!! CHEAP & EASY!
Tune be severly bad, since you wont be in boost, it will just run under vac.
Or like said, remove spring..

If you don't drive the car like an idiot, which i'm sure you won't, then you'll be fine with just taking out the wg spring.

go to autozone or pepboys and buy two straight pieces of pipe that have the same diameter as your IC inlet/outlet. cut it to fit where your IC used to be.
edit: I misread. I thought you had just sold the IC, not all of the piping.
You could still go to pepboys and spend abotu $25 for a few ubends and straight pieces to hook everything up.
