I thought if the seals were going there would be shaft play. Someone said it NORMAL for some oil to be in the I/C.

 

no, if the seals are no good you'll leak oil into the turbine or compressor housing (if you see it in your intake tube you've got bigger problems). The shaft play is when the bearing is worn and there isn't as tight of a clearance to the shaft anymore. Clean out the oil in the tubes and Try the 20w50! Plus the 20w50 is better for engine wear/ turbo wear anyway, and being in VA you don't really need to worry too much about the temperature coming into play with oil selection.

 

oil was getting in to my intake through the valve cover breather hose. I took it off and put in a small filter.

 

i did the same thing but i did it before i started the engine the 1st time though.

 

My friend is still worried about his car. He wants to know if the turbo is messed up AKA bad turbo seals will it mess up the engine?

 

YES! Oil is sooner or later going to get into your combustion chamber. Oil in the combustion chamber will cause detonation under boost and BAM!! No more ring lands......
