Default turbo placement question

Just wondering if a turbo has to be mounted perfectly forizontal or can it placed in such a way so that it is angled like mabe at 45 degrees so the turbine outlet is pointing somwhat downward and the compressor inlet is pointing somewhat up. does this make any sense? it seems like this would make it easier to fit 3" exhaust on a car with ac and ps. Would this place too much load on bearings etc ?

Default Re: turbo placement question (Zackyt)

You would probably have some issues with equal distribution of oil over the entire bearing area. enter: http://www.aerocharger.com/
