a t4 for low boost might not be the most efficient way to go if you are just looking for a regular moderate hp 'kit.'

other then that, you will need:

fuel pump (inline or intank) - i actually have a bosch inline for sale if you need one

fmu

intercooler - you can get away without one for LOW psi (3-4psi) but i dont recommend it

downpipe

manifold

wastegate (if turbo is an external wg)

oil feed lines - i have some NICE braided ones with brass fittings if you need them

oil return line

hose clamps

vacuum line

vacuum t's

edit: blow off valve

There are a few other misc things left off, but thats about it. Also, try doing a search on turbo kits to learn some more about them before you invest in one.

This could work:

-Chipped ECU
-Larger Injectors

turbo
blowoff valve
downpipe
manifold
oil lines
blah blah
blah search...

Nah, and like the other dude said, a t4 is probably not a good choice if you're set on low boost.

You do need some sort of fuel control with any turbo setup tho. You can't just bolt it on and expect your stock fuel system to compensate for the additional air

Boost controller
Won't help you get a lower psi

You sure as hell do need a boost controller, otherwise you...won't have controlled boost.

There are a whole ton of things you might ned, you can't really just ask for a list.

Don't use a T4.

I agree. A T4 at low boost is far out of its efficiency range. If you are going to run big boost later, then it's fine.

Until then, I'd get a small t3/t4 or a mitsubishi turbo.

If you don't run a boost controller, the boost is 'controlled' by the wastegate setting. You don't HAVE to have a boost controller. Like the other guy said, all it can do anyways is raise your boost level, not lower it. This guy doesn't need one.

Thank you, there are ways to lower your boost though,

If you make it so that you can set the boost lower than the wastegate spring pressure, then you will have to have a system which bypasses exhaust gas even when not in boost, and thus you will increase lag and raise the boost threshhold.

The wastegate spring pressure is as low as you can go, if you don't want the car to suck.

You can use a pressure source directly on the wastegate instead of using the boost controller, but that brings us back to the sucking thing. That will allow a pressure signal to reach the WG and open it befoe you reach full boost, slowing down boost response.
