Could be a lot of factors. Maybe the low compression added with the tubular manifold which should have longer runners than before killing your spool. Check for boost leaks also.

Wel my old set up was in a crx with a log manifold and it seemed fine but i redid the whole setup so for 1 have name brand parts and 2 i wanted the turbo to spool quicker something just seems wrong when i floor it, it has the power of a stock dx lol then it hits 5500 and it takes off ive done everything i can think of the car is running open dp but not for long

No. you're not listening to what LocoJoe is saying. Being new has nothing to do with the fact that you "upgraded" to parts that were made for less response. 8.5:1 on a long tubular exhaust manifold with little boost control will cause you to lag as much as 3000rpms in addition to what you had, even with the same turbocharger.

So what ur saying is my manifold with low compression could be holding me back even with a smaller turbo. The only reason i swapped manifolds is the old one put my wg through the hood. Im open to any sugestions but i still dont c y my setup would be making me spool that late even with the manifold and compression. I even bypassed the bov and wg so there wouldnt b that chance of loosing boost premature. but i may put the old mani on and give it a try. Thanks
