Turbo or NOT!?
I have a 1994 Integra GSR with 163,000 miles on it. Still runs very strong. I want to boost it but im not sure if i should b/c it has alot of miles on it. Will something break if i run 8psi nothing more? Need feedback before i make any decisions! thanx!
160k miles is nothing for a honda if its been maintained...
does it smoke?
does it knock?
does it use oil?
ask yourself those questions....
if you answer yes to any of those... take car of that before boosting...
once thats done, boost it, but in stock form you will only be safe for long term at lower boost/HP levels....
lots of people have done what you are asking.... its not impossible and not impractical...
but you pay to play... dont go cheap...

If you've done ALL proper MAINTENANCE at this point.
I can clearly say that your motor will still be capable of boost.
I know mine at 140,xxx was able to. 8.5K miles later -- almost 1 year, it's still holding up. Stock head/bottom end. Daily driven (my only car) w/a custom-pieced turbo kit.
Tuned at 260WHP @6.5psi of boost. Retuning for 300whp early next year.
Just make sure you will be able to handle the maintenance when you go into the "Dark Side".

Word. I bought my SOHC with over 210k miles on it, beat the **** out of it daily, boosted it, and I still beat the **** out of it daily.
As long as your good about maintenance and have a good tune you'll be fine.
