Default should I boost the tired d15?

I have a drag kit and I am building my d16z6, and was wondering should I put the turbo on my d15 with 160k miles, burns 1 quart of oil every 3,000 miles as of now.

That way if I happen to blow it, then I have my other one ready. OR should I just wait and put in my new engine. I dont have anyone wanting to buy the old one.

Yah.. boost it. If you scew something up, it's better to blow that one up than the one you're building.
Not to mention lots of experience you'll gain by installing D15..

i already have a turbo kit. I was debating putting in on my d15 to see what happens before I install my d16 (which will be turbo's anyways)

Do it for the install experience, unless you do this often. It is worth it even if the D15 shoots a rod into to trunk of guy in front of you.

Yeah do it for experience....putting the kit on for the 2nd time on your brand new b18 or whatever you get, ull feel so much safer knowing what corners to take here, and what to do here..........save u lot of time and headaches..doing it once and learning from the mistakes
