Turbo newb needs help
I have had my 2000 Si for about 2 years now and i love it, but it needs more power. It is a daily driver and I wanna turbo it, but run low boost and keep the engine internals stock, My guess would be 5-7psi would be safe on stock internals?
I would really like to build a DIY turbo and save some $$ but i don't even know where to begin or what to buy. I can just tell you I would like to make decent power out of my Si and not break the bank.
Anyone wanna start me off in the right direction? I would really aprreciate it.

Re: Turbo newb needs help (clintwsi)
Buy a used rev hard or drag kit. Have your ecu chipped with Uberdata for management. I pieced my own kit together for under 2K including a brand new turbo, inline pro mani, new tial waste gate. I fabbed all my own piping so I saved a lot of money there. Just read all you can about it. EVERYTHING you need to know is on this site. Good luck!

I wouldn't let anyone else touch me car. Just do it yourself. If you screw up, you don't have anyone else to blame.
