which turbo for me????
hey everybody well over the past couple of weeks ive been stuck on what to do..ive started a build back in the winter i have to del sols one was myt daily driver and the other was a parts car and came with a turbo b16...so i stripped the parts car for parts that i needed and kept the motor to..so my plans were to just do some more things to the motor like the bottom end and put it back in my car..ut long story short i changed my mine and decide to take my time and do everything at once so my question is i got a 1999 b16a2 and the turbo kit it came with was the bolt on greddy 18g turbo kit..but i want more power and people have been say that the greddy emange sucks and the turbo isnt the greaest so i was wondering what a good turbo for my b16 its dully built now bottome end and top end and iam doing mostly everything in bolts like intake manifold,cams,throttle bodie the whole nine yards i just want to know whats a good turbo to get me to 400-450 hp and whats realibe and good quality...thanks
you''ve received PM about your options, but this is assuming that you want a journal bearing turbocharger and your budget is about 1000 dollars, on pump gas. If you have other preferences you must state them, as there are MANY choices.
PM has been sent. I keep those choices limited based upon assumed budget, power goals, purpose, and bearing choice. this is from the Garrett line, but the Borg-Warner line can be considered as well. Specifically the S259 & S362.
