Default Turbo LS/Vtec

B18b Bottom .. stock bottom end
B16a Head .. GSR cams

... my question is ... is this safe to boost at low PSI.. if so what PSI would be recommended (when tuned properly of course) .. and what would you recommend to strengthen this build to make it more stable to boost on for minimal amount of money ..

(not looking for the obvious... sleeve it .. pistons / rods / etc because i am building up another block properly .. just cant afford it all at once at the moment)

you could always just get pistons/rods and forget the sleeves.. it cuts the build cost practicly in half

use the compression estimator to see what CR you would get using the b16a head on that block.. then you can get an idea..

lsvtec blocks are just as fine as any other b-series blocks, its all in the tune and the build.

Piston and Rods and you are good to go.

B-series motors can handle 300whp give or take. What "PSI" you run doesn't matter. Just make sure your car is tuned well.
