turbo ls i need help no boost
ok guys i have a 96 hatch with a 96 ls swap with a drag gen 3 turbo kit walbro 255 fuel pump an AEM fuel pressure regulater and vortec fmu i had a fuel problem and my boost gauge only read 7 but i had alot of power till it leaned out at 5,000 rpms now i fixed the fuel and the vac now reads 20 but when i get on it, it still feels like its all motr the boost gauge reads 7lbs but im not going anywhere fast could it be my wastegate or the turbo itself i heard my wastegate could be stuck open how can i fix that oh and heres how i have the vac hooked up ok the blow off valve is teed of to the pcv valve hose and the boost gauge is teed of to the break booster and the rest is to my fuel pressure regulater please help this is my first turbo experince so if i did something wrong just tell me i like NOS it was alot easier

your problem is you have a shitty management system. your either running hella rich or lean in boost.
does it bog down in boost do you feel a change at all when you spool?
I just realized... are these stock injectors?

yes stock injectors and no i dont feel a change when the turbo spools i did but when i teed all that vac to different places i stoped feeling the turbo all togeather

if the boost gauge reads 7psi and stays there then you are getting boost
if the boost gauge is teed off at the fpr then the engine is seeing boost, if before the throttle body, check your piping and connections for boost leak
if your wastegate was stuck open you would not see boost unless it was a small leak. remove wastegate and check the spring or rev the engine and feel for exhaust gas out of the wg dump tube (with paper or something)
as for fuel:
are u running the FMU?
i would get rid of that and run the AFC hack or standalone
that would solve your fuel issues

i found out my problem for no boost the wastegate was stuck open but now it leans out and it reads like 15psi but i know its not 15psi now what could be the problem

So where is the inline fuel pump that is supplied in the Drag kit?
It is neccesary!
*EDIT* Dont "T" off of the PCV. You will draw oil vapor into your bov/wastegate.

this goes to 93lscivic u ran 12.71 with street tires what do u have for internals or what ecu r u runing and whats the most boost u can run on a stock ls i mean stock with turbo kit and is it possible to run like 8psi and then a 35 shot NOS dryshot before the intercooler or should i just run more boost like 11psi

At that time the motor was completly stock w/ turbo. With the exception on hondata and 550 injectors. You will need larger injectors...i would suggest dsm 440's with the afc hack, this is the cheapest and works very well. As far as boost, its all about the tuning, however stock pistons suck *** and the ring lands are known to crack if they see any signs of detonation.
My hondata is for sale by the way.
