Turbo kit help
I plan on boosting my D series which is very reliable and in good condition i'm not worried about killin it. But I've been looking into the Go-Autoworks street kit (~$2,000) its got good parts and its a pretty good deal; however, I realize I still need a new fuel pump, injectors, etc and fuel management which is obviously not included.
So my question is do I spring for the kit and buy the rest of the stuff here and there, or do I piece a kit together myself and maybe save some money? I've read intercoolers aren't that big of a deal quality wise same with piping, so that makes me think I could piece one together for a little less.
And yes I have been researching a lot and this will be my first turbo project. My goals are ~200whp and decent torque on a low 6-8 psi. Its my daily and I just want a small quick spooling turbo for more low range power. Im not interested in high rpm boost lol. Just enough to get me in and out of traffic. Thanks for any replies.

Buy the kit....By the time you think your ready to install all your parts your going to find out your missing a bunch of small gaskets, flanges, seals, fittings, ect. it all adds up really quick.

You won't regret going with go-autoworks. I had planned on it until my brother have me his old setup which has been a pain replacing the cheap parts with quality, rebuilding the garrett turbo. After the fact I wish I would have gone with one of Greg's kits.
