Im looking to do this with my EP3 (K20a2) and upgrade turbo and all hardware lines.

Anyone done it sub -$2000

Thanks JC

Either source a used turbo kit from the forums, or piece it together yourself. It shouldn't be too hard keeping it under $2k but you'll need to find deals on parts (preferably used in good condition). Just be patient, do your homework to see what you'll need.

If you have more specific questions I'd be glad to help, but this topic has been beaten to death.

I dont want to sound like a dick (but I am so thats how it sounds) but how it is concievable to turbo for less than $2K on a K?

K-pro and a good dyno tune should set you back $1k?

Even an Egay turbo kit is atleast $800 (and you would be an idiot to run it), and that doesnt include upgraded
-Clutch
-Injectors
-Fuel pump

and youll want a decent set of coilover to get the power to the ground, but I guess that isnt required.......

The words turbo and budget should never be used together. You get what you pay for.

Oh that's nice...

Listen take it from me... do it once do it right... If you want Boost and "cheaper" buy a supercharger. Or take a chance on a used turbo kit and just rebuild the turbo or buy a new one. You truly can't put the two words "turbo and cheap" or budget together... doesn't work. Or you want to make it feel less expensive buy it piece by piece slowly but surely lol
