Default turbo installed, now stalling

just got done installing a revhard stage 2 kit, i switched the inline for an intank fuel pump, problems are when letting off the gas, the car stalls, or even turning it on, it stalls unless i give it some gas, when i had the downpipe welded to the rest of the exhaust the guy said it was running very rich, putting out alot of black smoke. cars stock, just the turbo on it, any ideas what could be causing the stalling? thanks

not sure if this is true or not, but I remember someone saying its better to use an inline pump with an FCU than in intank.

intake is sorta fishy, dont have one at the moment, i cut part of my stock intake rubber for an arm from the turbo, and then i put a makeshift foam, screen intake til i get one tmorrow. but i did have it open with no foam, and it still stalled. the fmu is probably 12:1, is there any way to tell what disc it has? it was whatever came with the revhard kit. the lower the number the less fuel it adds right?
stock injectors.
everything stock, fuel management is just the fmu and intank walbro 255 fuel pump.
if you need pics, i can put some up. but it does appear to be all fuel related to the stalling, at least im pretty sure, tons of black smoke and smells real rich
thanks
