Re: Turbo Identification
All I can get off of the part numbers is it's a Japanese built Garrett for Komatsu heavy equipment.
Digging for parts found this
Compressor wheel:
Inducer Dia.: 43.72 mm
Exducer Dia. : 69.96 mm
Trim: 39
Tip Height: 5.29 mm
Super Back Height: 1.68 mm
Bore: 6.35
Blades: 8
Turbine wheel:
Inducer: 73mm / 2.87 inch
Exducer: 58.3 mm / 2.30 inch
Trim 62
No. of Blades : 11
It obviously uses a T04B compressor cover and a T3 turbine housing with what appears to be a Ford 5 bolt outlet. Since it's a turbo designed for a diesel application it has a fairly large turbine wheel when compared to the compressor wheel, it's hard to say what the power limit is but I can almost guarantee that it will have more lag compared to similarly sized gasoline oriented turbo.
