Here is a queston for all you turbo gurus out there. im tyring to ID a turbo and all i know about it is that i came from the boost designs kit.
here is what the turbo says.
"TURBOCHARGERr"
"TYPE: T04E"
"PART NO.: T3/T4
"SERIAL NO.: 040225111-5"

the compressor reads
"<WL> A/R .50", "TURBO ZY", and "M12"

the exhaust housing has the turbonetics T logo on it and it also has the number "20357" writtin on the bottom of the housing near the bolt holes.

just b/c the compressor says .50a/r dosent mean its a 50 tirm t3/t4. i need to know the specs of the exhaust housing too!

 

if you want to know who makes the turbo? well if its on ebay.. then those are trash... especially if its a cheap one... i know a guy who ordered one, and it was garbage.. the houseing was all like plastic looking..

 

The easiest way since you know it's a t04E: unbolt the coldside housing, measure the small and big ends of the compressor wheel, then check the numbers here: http://majesticturbo.com/c-maps-4.html

btw if it is an ebay turbo, I swear I've seen some taiwan copies with the 'T' of turbonetics cast into them.

 

its turbozy so its ebay trash, dont waste your money
