Re: turbo gsr time slips (GSRev)
I am located in Houston and own a JRSC ITR and am looking for some advice.
The car is running 5psi, Kamikaze Hdrs, Mugen exh, Short ram intake, Hi-Flo cat, stock inj, Jackson fuel pump, and Apexi VAFC. I am running 50psi static, 80 psi under load, 15 degrees initial and dynoing at 206.4 whp with the air temp at 106 degrees. I am looking for some good guys to help with the car and go to Baytown with.
Please advise
Thank you in advance.

Re: turbo gsr time slips (Type R)
I was fortunate enough to purchase the ITR with the JRSC, but as i understand all the part throttle detonation probs are alleviated with the vafc. The car runs as smooth as silk.

Re: turbo gsr time slips (yellowbulbs)
take some air our your slicks (run 11-12psi), make your shocks stiffer in the back, softer up front, and launch a little harder and let it bite a little harder off the line. You got a 12 sec car there bub! With all that in place you should run 12.7's all day!
What are you puttin down to the wheels?

Re: turbo gsr time slips (FAST94GSR)
i was running like 14 psi in the slicks. on the first few runs my BTM was retarded at like .5 so i was running 14's. so i'm like damn this is too slow, so i cranked it down, right after i cranked it down 13.3. next run i launched at 6500 13.17. last run launched at 7000 13.03. i couldn't get a decent burnout either, only the left side was spinning. also had half a tank of gas. i plan on getting some race gas next time. Is it true that is u use race gas u can set ur timing at 0?
thanks
thanks

YES!! Most excellent runs.
If you use race gas (100 octane) you can safely set your timing to stock 16 degrees and set the MSD to 0.
