Default turbo gsr bore ?

if i bored stock gsr sleeves to 84mm, how reliable will the stock sleeves under boost? it is a gsr with built b16 head, i have 84mm forged pistons that i am wondering if i should put in or just buy more for stock sleeve size for more boost. what do u guys think??? thanks

no...it will break, thats like having glass cylinder walls

buy a sleeved block... or sell those pistons and get smaller 1's

I dont think you'll even have any metal left at 84mm on stock sleeves...even 82mm stock sleeves are weak on boost.

Bore it to 81.5mm just to clean up the sleeves a bit, while still retaining most of the cylinder wall support. Block guard is also a good thing to throw in.

yea, about that, i had a new ge sleeved block but had to sell plan to get another but not for a year or so. didntknow the difference in the gsr n b20 sleeves cuz i had a boosted b20. thanks

n ill prolly go wit bigb16 and resurface cylinder walls with some slightly larger forged pistons. thanks guys
