Which turbo to go with
I hav a b16a2 motor that i am having bored out to a 1.8. It is goin to be sleeved new pistons with 9:1 comp. and new rods. I am doing titanium valves, springs, and retainers, but no porting right now on the head. I am trying to decide which turbo will be the best for my motor to run 18-20 psi. Also it will be a street car. Which Turbo...Drag, F-max, Rev hard (stage 2c, or stage3), and Apex. I pretty much hav it narrowed down to either F-max or Rev Hard cuz they can be designed to boost 18-20 better than others. So any advice or info is appreciated. Thanx

Re: Which turbo to go with (2.0L Turbo)
Thats alot of psi daily driven...I doubt you'll run that much when your gas gauge is going down hehe...
But, if you are serious about that kind of power...I'd piece together a kit...a pre-made kit like drag, revhard is good...but probably won't support the kind of power that 18-20psi would make...
You'd prolly want something big like even a t4 60-1...RevHard is a good manifold, and also inline pro would be good (drag )
but yeah, any other questions talk to ARTurbo

update
I won't be running 18-20 everyday, that'll be at the track. Prob. run max 12 psi daily. I don't hav ne clue on how much power but ill make it enough to run mid to high 12, with full interior. Also i hav decided to do head work afterall, b/c i don't hav money 4 that, but the bank does. Were gonna go with the skunk2 head package and a good port n polish job. Cuz i know i would regret not doin it.

Dont spend your money on head work. Use what you have right now and you should be able to run a 12 on just about any turbo kit on the market with full interior.

Re: update (Arturbo)
I can get a loan out easily b/c i know that i would regret not doin it in the long run don't u think...I will end up peicing my kit together...how much can u get me a inlinepro manifold for just curious? Also, estimated how much would i gain by doin head package (HP and revs)..also would u suggest a bigger turbo like the t-04s 60-1 just curious..also ne preferences on intake manifolds and throttle bodies i heard jg edelbrock is better than skunk2 thats all i know

No, Ive seen 650whp on a stock head. You are really thinking too hard and thinking you have to have to spend all this money. Keep it simple stupid KISS.
BTW, email me for an inlinepro manifold.

Re: update (Arturbo)
i would be able to rev higher tho which is to my advantage to keep me at higher boost rather than shifting and loosing power range...hondas are a crotch rocket with 4 wheels, the higher rpm the more power...it doesn't bother me to spend more money

Then just get some valve springs and call it a day. Dont get me wrong, head work is good but not always needed. Unless you are going full race car and a sponsor then do it.

Re: update (Arturbo)
well i havn't talked to miller lite yet, but im in the process of writing a letter to them on my paint scheme for the car and all the stuff done and in the works. My paint scheme came from the new miller lite bottle (metallic blue faded back to silver in progressing swooshes) i think i would be able to get sponsored...true, the only thing holding revs back in head is the springs and retainers...glad u said that
