Turbo CRV
A friend of mine is interested in installing a turbo on his CRV. We all know custom is the way to go, but he would prefer an actual 'kit.' Does anyone have kits available for this set up? Or at least a manifold and downpipe available for the actual CRV?
Should be the same as regular old LS kit...with some possible modification for the charge pipe at the intake manifold.
I saw one at E-town before--- definetly very cool!!

I dunno, Dave. A friend had one he bought "used" (read: new, never installed) for $800, we did something else for fuel controls than the Gay Box, he was pulling LS1's gently at 8 psi.
Met another guy got his for SOHC Civic kit for $1100, stuck it on a 90 hatchcrap w/ D16A6, and after doing the head and general tweaking of the kit (ditching the Gay Box) was making 240 whp at 15 psi, turning 12.5's.
They make a great kit, it's just not the ***** to the wall kit the power junkies prefer. I like the quality I've seen, and for an honest bump in power from someone worried about hurting their car with too much boost, or for your gf's car, well, it's pretty decent. Especially with what one can be had for if you shop a little.

<-217whp on a stock D16Y8 + GReddy..
Nobody said you're going to win dyno wars with it, but there's no doubt about it that for the money, you can't beat the quality and effectivness of a GReddy kit.
