hey guys, I have a TD05h turbo, internally wastegated, Im almoste cirtain the accuator is set at 14psi. But you see i cant run 14psi cause i would like to put it on my stock motor (D15B7). So is there anyway to lower the boost, say with a manual or electronic boost controller? cause the (MAX) i can boost safely is 8psi. So i need to find a way to lower, or should i just bag the whole idea, and find a new turbo or just not do it at all. leme know what you think. thanks

boost controllers only go up.

geta diferent actuator- or find out for sure if its 14 pounds... most stock cars do not run that high

yah, like i said, its off a DSM, eclipce, and so guys at a race shop told me thats what it was sooo. Plus im pretty sure they dont make any different ones, and if some ones got one let me know. And boost controlers only go up? ok well, more inpute would be appreciated

90% of race shop guys are morons. I've seen some stuff in my day- and i'm sure EVERY member on here can say 1 bad thing about a shop. They are people too, and are far from all-knowing. There are good shops out there, but theres WAY MORE "hey y0! lets open a shop B" shops out there.

anyway... like i said.. you can only go up with a boost controller. the waste gate is the BASE line pressure.

so, either get a new actuator (you say they don't have one), run 14 lbs, or get a different turbo.
