How do i lower boost???

Default How do i lower boost???

i am going to use a 99 eclipse turbo in my car and i was wondering how i can lower the boost levels to around 6 psi. i think its stock actuated at 10-11 psi. thanks in advance...

You can buy a new actuator with a lower spring rate or you can add washers to the stock actuator...I don't know exactly how that works out, but I guess a lot of people do it.

i believe the dsm turbo's run 11psi controlled by a boost solenoid by the dsm computer...the actual boost on the turbo is set at 8psi

Buy one of the actuators that is adjustable (HKS or Greddy aftermarket) or find an actuator that is set for 6psi.
