most boost on EMS
i'm sure it's been answered a thousand times, but after the third page in the archives, i just figured i'd ask:
how much boost can an EMS control
does it have a built in boost controller
does it have a built in turbo timer

Yes it can control boost.
No it cant function as a turbo timer.
um...there is no way it can only handle 12 psi..the supra guys are boosting so much more. Your STOCK mapsensor may max out around there but the unit itself will not. Get a 3 bar mapsensor and you'll easily handle 20+ psi..
well, form what i've heard (rumors, varying in number each time, nothing certain), it can only handle about 12 psi.... i will EASILY exceed that
AEM sells 5 bar map sensors for use with the EMS if you need them.
Using the factory honda map sensor with actual fuel management, the ~12psi is the most you can run before the voltage output from the sensor peaks.

the STOCK sensor handles 12psi... and it can accept any 5v map sensor so it's virtually unlimited
and it can be setup as a turbo timer, even better since it can shutoff the car dependant on coolant temp, etc...

That's what I said....I wanted the EMS so bad but it's twice as much as Hondata and does a lot more than I will probably ever need, and I already have a TT so I'm set
just played around with tt and it works... not with factory alarm... you can't turn it on until car shuts off, but car will still lock... but the timer works as advertised
