Default Turbo choice---please help gurus, genious', know-it-alls (Turbomafia? Arturbo?)

I have a choice of a couple of turbos. First off, I am running an LS motor. No top or bottom end work, so completly stock internally. I have the B&M FPR, but will use the vortech fmu. I also have a chipped ecu that has better fuel and air maps. Now I have a choice of the T3/T04B with a .46 trim in either stage 3 or 4 and T3/T04E with either .54 & .57 trim. All units are by Turbonetics. I wish to boost anywhere between 6-10 psi, or whatever is safe on my setup. Also I tried to read and understand the compressor maps, but have no idea on what the ideal choice would be for me. Also I am in Pennsylvania, where I am sea level. Please give me any kind of feedback. I have been working on my own turbo kit for awhile and this is going to be the most difficult topic that I need to have covered. Thanks in advance for all of your replies!

I'd recommend something smaller. t3/t04's can put out well over 20 psi because they are HUGE. I really don't get why people buy these turbos for hondas when all they'd need is a smaller turbo. I'd personally recommend a ball bearing ihi of some sort. They're oil AND water cooled and can push a good amount of air. But this is my .2 cents and I'm still learnin up on turbo design. *spitouee*

Since you have a stock LS get the B setup and use an AR.48 or .63 ehaust housing. You can buy complete kits for the price of most full BB turbos!

Okay, I'll bite since I'm also learning. What's a good source for IHI turbos? More importantly, where is a good source of data, especially compressor maps? Oil + water cooling sounds great, ball bearing might break my little bitty budget but is also interesting. Any pointers?

Thanks.

The Apex AX series turbos are built by IHI and have a awesome Wheel combos. The only draw back is the BB turbos cost $2200 by themselves (Just like HKS BB).

I would just use a T3 super 60. it will give you good response in the street. with a .63 exhaust.
