Will this do any damage to my turbo or my motor, besides less potential output, I just want to quiet down my car since it's freakin loud as hell. Just wondering what you guys opinions are?

I doubt it'll damage your engine, but the restriction is just too great. You'd be better off installing a big resonator along with a non-straight-through 2.5" muffler like a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler or an Airmass Warlock muffler. The former is aluminzed steel while the latter is T304 stainless-steel.

i was wondering the same thing.. my cat has been gutted and am running a custom drag kit on my gsr.. will 2.5 dp and 2.5 piping w/ stock muffler stall the car's potential? maybe i should get a turbo muffler ??

I did this a long time ago and it totally sucks for top end and spool time. Not even worth it. Its a big *** bottleneck.
