Default tuning/fuel system questions

ive been thinking about turbo'ing the b18b in my 96 civic sedan recently and was wondering what id have to do regarding the ecu/tuning it. what would be my best bet without breaking the bank?

and how much power will the stock fuel system/injectors support? id be shooting for about 275whp on 91 octane (thats the highest we have up here)

if thats over what the stock fuel system would support, what would i have to get regarding that? (what size pump, injectors etc. and if id need different rails/lines or a regulator)

thanks for any help you can offer!

Because you bought an OBD2 car you need to get an OBD1 ecu to run Hondata/Neptune/Crome and a harness adapter. I have a chipped OBD1 P72 for sale that you can use for any tuning software you choose.

The stock injectors are tiny. Youll need bigger injectors. I suppose 440cc would work but Id go with the largest you could afford to give you room to grow in the future - ID1000s. And you'll need a real fuel pump. A walbro 255 will be fine. The stock lines and rail are fine.

Is it stock? If it came with any aftermarket injectors then I would bet it is retund and therefor ODB1. But you could pull the ECU out and figure out what it is.

yeah just pop off the cover on passenger side, and look at the ecu, if there is a harness bridging your ecu to your stock wiring harness then its a obd1 ecu, if its pluged in directly your still on stock ob2 ecu

You have an LS P75 Non-vtec ecu. You can use Hondata, Neptune RTP, etc. Check with Hondata.com and their ECU list of information regarding which ECUs you can use. I believe that the P75 can be converted to run VTEC

what they can do is put a base map just to get your car running in the right direction, but for tuning you'll have to go to a tuner and get dyno tuned
