Default tune or not to tune

I had a stock b16 tuned to 15 psi with a 18g turbo, it put out 307whp at 15psi 2 months ago. My friend bye accident did a 5 gear to 3rd on the highway when I let him test drive it. Did a comp check and had number like 120, 150, 180, 210. Car runs and doesn't smoke at all. might be a bad head or ringslands.
So, I have another block at my shop so I was going to rod and piston it to 9.1. comp. Do think I need a retune or just put the wide band in and just check it?
think theres a huge diffence between 10.2 and then knocking it down to 9.0 ratio?
I'm going to keep the boost the same. I just running off the spring.

No engine is entirely the same. A tune would be a good idea if you care about the life of your engine.

By the way those numbers are pretty low
And 15 psi is too much on a stock b16.

How could the number be to low and the boost to much? the 18 g turbo makes 300whp at 15 psi because it only flows 380cfm not like a t3-60-1 that flows 550cfm. horsepower is what kills a motor not psi. or shifting bad. if you look at people with greddy kits taht what they make, I had one sitting at the shop so I used it.
Its a daily driver no race, boost is instant. So, maybe a retune is good.

even if you rebuild it to same spec, you should still get it retuned. no 2 setups are alike even if its your own engine goign through rebuild twice
