B16 Turbo Questions
How much PSI do you suggest boosting on a JDM B16 SiR-II motor, capable of daily driving? I plan on changing out to a thicker head gasket to lower compression a little bit. Other than that, I'm keeping everything stock.

Not to be a dick or anyting, but how can you even give a number based on the information that he gave? I agree, in most cases 7-9 PSI would work well for most aplications and most bolt on turbo kits, but he didn't specify anything.
It all depends on what setup your running and how it is tuned, I've seen LS's blow up on 7 psi and a small turbo because of poor tuning. On the other hand I've seen B16's stay together at 14 PSI for extended amounts of time with an SC-61 hanging off the exhaust and a good tune. Personally I run between 14 and 17 PSI on my stock internal D-Series and it is still chugging along. We need more specifics about what setup your planning on running if you want an answer that will have a bit more meaning.
