Well it all really depends what specs you want on the turbo. But the TS04 uses the T58 compressor wheel and you get to choose what turbine wheel you want. It doesnt really have a part #.

Do you know what the wheel is rated at..? How much can it flow...?

Thanks for responding

I am going to guess they used a P trim turbine. But I am not sure if this turbo is indeed a TS04. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=441993 The reason I say that is because the T58 flows around 58-59lbs/min and 600whp is alot!

Also in the above thread, they talk about a TS06. I havent heard of that turbo before..?

Are you saying a T58 is actually a TS04...????
So whats the difference between those two wheels and the T61 then...?

Thanks

I honestly don't know why it is called the TS04. I guess its just a short name.

Yes, the TS04 is the short name for the T58 from the "T-series" compressors. A list of compressors are the T58, T61, T64, T66, T70, T72 and T76.

the difference between the them are the volume of air it flows etc..

Let me ask you a more important question, what are your goal and why are you so dead set on the T58?

Ok heres the reason for my questions. I just wanted to know if it was possible to make 335kw at the wheels at 1.5 bar boost at 7600 rpm on a 2.0l 16v engine.

This is the power i saw a car make. I was there when they were tuning the car.
tso4 wheel with a to4e ar50 compressor housing , 0.63 exhaust housing , not sure what wheel though.

This is what i was told the turbo spec was.... in your honest opinion...due you think such a turbo is capable of such power...? The turbo hits full boost at 4500 rpm non ball bearing.

ok...so which wheel would you use if you wanted to hit between 550 and 620 whp...?

Sc61 compressor wheel or tS04 or T61 or T66.......?

All will be used with ar 70 compressor housing, and a ptrim 63 exhuast housing.

Which will support that power and boost the fastest....? (360 thrust bearing)

The T61 and SC61's compressor maps almost look alike. Let me make this clear, they are NOT the same compressor. But they flow about the same but the GT40 56 trim in the sc61 is a little more effcient than the T61. I still feel that the SC61 is still the best bang for the buck, or peso, yen. and you can not go wrong.

Ok thats making it a little easier to dicide. But what about the T66....how does that wheel compare...in terms of power it supports and boost response. Also we wont rev more than 8000 rpm

Well if you are going that big then I would go with the 67mm compressor wheel found in the PT67. Its aGarrett 63 trim 67mm compressor wheel.

have a part number for this wheel...?

Also how much of a difference does a .70 compressor housing make in terms of power..? what effect do a large compressor cover have on boost response...?

The part# from me is PT67/76. I can't really give you a set horepower figure on the larger compressor wheel with a larger compressor housing but there is nothing to lose with it either. As far as boost repsone a majority of that is more effected by turbine wheel/ housings. The compressor does too but I feel not as much as the turbine wheel does. It all depends on how much exhaust back pressure and manifold pressure you have too.

With the SC61 you are really pushing it. Only a handfull of people have made 600whp with the SC61. It'll be easier with the PT67 to make that. But if you kinda want the best of both worlds I'd recomend the GT35R.

One more thing, the 67mm compressor wheel can also be called T04R. Well that is what HKS called their turbo that had a P-trim turbine and 67mm 63 trim compressor wheel. In other words T04R=PT67.
