TRYING TO GET A TURBO LS GOING? POSSIBLE
JUT LIKE THE TITLE STATES. I WANNA GET A TURBO LS GOING. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT PARTS DO I NEED TO DO THIS RIGHT TO HAVE IT DAILY DRIVEN? IF YOU CAN WRITE THE SPECIFIC PARTS THAT I NEED.
SORRY GUYS I HAVE BEEN DOING ALL MOTOR AND KNOW LITTLE ABOUT TURBOS, EXCEPT A COUPLE OF THINGS.
BE AS SPECIFIC AS YOU CAN.
FOR ALL YOU LS-T'S OUT THERE PLEASE DROP ME A COUPLE OF LINES TO TELL ME HOW I SHOULD GO ABOUT IT.
I AM ALSO TRYING TO WORK WITH A BUDGET OF ABOUT 3000 .
LIST ALL THE THINGS THAT I NEEEEEEED TO DO THIS LS-TURBO RIGHT .

You need a full turbo kit.,,with a turbo that meets your needs ..dont want to small or to big...
Fuel management..
Dont take the rpms higher then the stock ls can handle..
And good tuning
Also good tunig
and good tuning to make it a reliable street car..

That varys..depends on the motor condition,,and how its tuned.etc.

well i got a 97 ls motor with approx 96 miles ( i think). I heard today by upgrading my crank,pistons, valvetrain, 5 angle job i should be ready to do this . Is that true

Before you build the motor .think about your hp goals..You might not have to do that ****..
Many people have gotten over 300whp on stock block ls motors.Its mostly due to good tuning...And a 300+ whp honda in the streets is overwhelming..

you need to buy a turbo that comes with a fmu
so you that you have fuel management b/c i don't think you are ready for a standalone
just buy a rev-hard or drag kit with everything
and then install it and run 5 - 7 psi and you will be fine
