H1 Turbo on an LS Motor
I have a Hummer H1 Turbo and want to know if I can use it on my motor. Currently my LS motor is NOT turbo but I would like to make it. What kind of custom work is needed or can I just buy any manifold and turbo kit for this H1 turbo? I want to go fairly cheap in the range of 1000 dollars for both remainder of the kit as well as tune. Is this possible? Thx everyone!

Do you have any additional information on this turbo? Its hard to tell you what manifold you need or if it will work well without knowing more about it..

1000 including tune for the rest of the project? you might be able to get some ebay parts for 600 but that be whack.... dont skimp do it right or dont do it
im thinking that hummer turbo will be to big for your motor to spin

^^Which is why I asked him for specs on the turbo...or even a picture of it. Chances are, the diesel turbo will work, but will be too big for your setup. There are a few setups around FI that run overly large turbos (like one with a T4 1.15 ar Garrett in a recent thread). Those setups make power, but they're also laggy as hell...i think he had full boost sometime after 6k rpm...not my cup of tea
