Read through the FAQs please https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/%2A%2A%2Aforced-induction-forum-faq%2A%2A%2A-1024174/

Ditch that block gaurd as well...

ID725 injectors and you think you need 3" piping? Without knowing your power goals (but looking at injector size alone tells me they aren't very high) all I can say is your list stinks.

I don't see sleeves on the list anywhere, so how are you going to put 84.5mm pistons in a gsr block?

my bad... I meant 81.5... prolly just got done reading another post... I intentionally left as much in the block when I had it machined because I didn't want to sleeve it... power goal is between 400-450... and yes 725 injectors... recommended by my tuner for my power goal... P.S. too late on the block guard, its already in there.. Engine is complete, just doing turbo setup now...

I was trying to get at the whole idea of how to select your intercooler piping size..

You don't need 3" though. Just use silicone reducers off the intercooler (3" > 2.5"). You'll be making life easier for yourself this way, instead of harder...

thanks rich7777, I appreciate it. I actually called my tuner to ask him plus I looked up some other sites as well and they all said the same thing so 2.5 is what im going for... thanks again...

Roll8221 - Here's where I purchased a lot of my turbo stuff from. http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/

Have a look around their site. You may find a few bits what you need...

I just bought U-bends and straights and made my own piping...not that hard. After I cut it and marked it up then took it to the shop to weld. Fits great.

And yes you will never need more than 2.5" with your setup.
