usually you can fit a 2.5" pretyt easily witht he right angles. Otherwise jsut notch the X-member a bit and rebrace after the notching, or get aftermarket member. I run Full-Race

i hear a lot of people use traction bars in stead but i dont have too much money, and Id like to be able to just "notch" or have a custom down pipe built..... and what type of set up are u running/ is ur hot side facing the passesnger side of the motor (tranny side)? I got a t3/t4 and Its real heavy soo im gunna brace it to the tranny/block and haved the downpipe run off the passenger side. thanks for all the help if u got pics please post em

well I got a sparks style manifold, Its not that I have a problem mounting it its the fact that If i mount it incorretly the DP will be near immpossible to mount and run.... I have searched and found a nice post of some dude who was able to run a 3 inch DP but he looks like he can weld I dont have any skills but I will prolly end up running a 2.5 garbage pipe for now untill it cracks and I have no choice but to upgrade...a

I cut it out as big as needed and then box it back in with 1/8" mild steel plate. Works really well if you don't have the cash for a traction bar setup.
