Re: Traction Bars with I/C piping? (Mr. Vapor)
i did it in my sohc goodluck it takes a while to mock it up properly
i had 3'; dp on dirvers side and 2.5 inch charge piping go accross the bottom where the rad support is then turn down and around just beside the washer fluid bottle then into the intercooler
3" dp barely clears the traction bars actually i had to poound the **** out of it with a hammer to get a dent large enough to clear in the spot where it would touch the traction bar.
yah so the intercooler piping on mine goes above the traction bars then when it gets to just before the washer bottle turns down and around. 180 style with a few 45s in the mix.
no AC
it was a bitch.
but its possible i dont have a digital camera so i cant get pics but goodluck

I was able to do it on my EM1. We just had to cut the drivers side IC pipping to get to the compressor side.
The piping would hang too low, below the traction bars causing the IC piping to scrape if you went over anything taller than an inch and a half, and if you cut the angle right, you can go right above the bars and not under them.
I have ac w/ a 2.5" DP, so its not that big of a deal...on an EM! that is.
