Timing for turbo set up
Anyone tell me if I should be running my timing a little retarted or stock settings? I have a Greddy kit on my 99 EX, blue box, 8psi, port and polished head milled .030. I've done a few things trying to smooth the idle out a little, and reduce the little bit of bogging out of boost, but nothing seems to have worked. I'm afraid to advance it too much and possibly have detonation. I'm giong to get it dyno tuned sometime later this week, but for the time being, I want to make sure its safe and hopefully get it running a little better myself. Hopefully that was enough info to help point the direction of whats goin on.

retard at .5 lb/psi, that should be perfectly fine for up to 8-10 psi..
are you using msd timing box or changing at the distributor?
