Default Tial 44mm WG .6bar & AVCR Whats the most PSI I can tune up to?

I searched and could not come up with a 100% answer to my question.
I have a GM 3 bar map and all the goodies. Just need to know if I need another spring to add into my WG. I want to tune up to 28-30+ psi if possible. Thanks for your input in advance.

Servion when you avaliable

A good EBC (Tullos tech, ect) will allow you to max your map sensor out, providing that the rest of your system is up to par.

You'll only get about 16-18psi with that small wastegate spring before the spring will start to float. Normally you can only go double your wastegate spring psi.

thats not true you can usally get about 3 times the amount out of the spring... a 3bar will read 29psi

i remember reading this somewhere. either synapse or tial.

you can go 2-3 x the spring pressure.
if you are goin higher than that, you will have inconsistencies. and will need a stiffer spring. i am going to look into that a little more now because i want to run alot more boost than that this year.

and brett is correct on the 3 bar, although i thought it was 27-28, but yeah.

a 3 bar map sensor will read up to 29psi
generally you dont want to run more than double the wastegate spring pressure

if it a street car if so i wouldnt run a bar spring... 14 psi can yield a good amount of power on most car. nad that will turn into tire roasting which is no fun. you will be more happy with a 7psi spring...

fwiw, you can run alot more boost than your map sensor will read. just that your "fuel" will only go up to the last boost column...
