throw me ideas. what can make a car go rich for a sec when tb shuts? (decel)
sup.
so i have this problam for a while now.
my afr's go rich for a second when i let off the throttle at idle and in moving decel... the more i tap it in the richer it gets.
please throw me ideas of what can cause this... its driving me insane.
setup:
p28 ecu + crome (ill upload the bin if anyone wishes)
dsm 450's
oem resistor box
tps set to 0.45 closed and 4.47 open
new plugs.
thanks,

mine does the same. i believe from what ive read, crome doesnt have a tip out adjustment and this is why it cant be adjusted out. mine causes me no problems though except for an occasional pop in the exhaust.

sup everyone.
i know that this is not somthing to worry about. but im getting shitty mpg at traffic.
and the other reason is that i cand read my plugs. they get fouled as you let go the throttle.
ps.
i know some other pepole that use crome dont have this issue, i even asked xenocron and he said he dont know/have this issue.

how long does it go rich for and where is your o2 sensor located?
it shouldnt foul the plugs or cause bad mileage.
i played with the decel pump options in my civic for a long time and never noticed a difference in driveability or mileage.

if i remember correctly, i saw a post fuel table in my advanced tables last time i scrolled trough it.
is'nt that to control how long it gives fuel after you close the throttle?

Post fuel is to set the injectors opening at warmup.

it says rich only for 1-2 second, depending how i drive it.
o2 is located just behind the oil pan,
what do you mean by decel pump options ?

decel pump is the oppsite of accel pump.. it senses how much and how fast you let off the throttle and subtracts fuel accordingly...
1-2 sec is just the wb lagging probably... its normal and will not cause anything "bad"

The decel enrichment might be a from the fuel map portion in the table that the ECU reads when the throttle plate is closing; so a few datalogs to see if that is what is happening.
Taping the throttle is probably your enrichment value; there is a selection for this in the advanced tables, or in Fuel tools, can't remember which one off-hand because I am at work.
at any point if you tip the gas does it go rich for a hair?

hello Jared.
i'v tryed everything in the fuel maps. even setting the whole rpm range in coulmn1 to "1" and even 0.50.
it happans every time. i shut the throttle.
its getting really rich... like 11.5 when i let it off after a wot.
and about 13.9-12.5 when i let off when im cruising it.
at traffic take offs i need to rev it a bit more cause its a d14
