Is my TPS done?

Is my TPS done?
I just checked my tps because my car has been running rough with no CEL and all other sensors have been replaced and everything else has been looked over many times...anyhow I adjusted it with the car off to where it read .45v at idle but at WOT it only reads out to 4.5v. Then I turned the motor on and that reading lowered to .33v at idle. Is that consistent with a failed TPS? Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Re: Is my TPS done?
I'm not sure if it's suppose to change like that but it sounds normal. At idle it should read less than 1v but not 0 and at wot it should read really no more than 4.5v. If you get 5v than something is wrong, more than likely a faulty TPS if you read 5v. reading 0v I believe would mean that you're not getting any voltage to it.

Re: Is my TPS done?
TPS operating voltage range is as follows:
closed throttle= about 0.5V (usually 0.45-0.49)
fully open throttle= about 4.5V (usually 4.45-4.52)
the voltage should increase smoothly through the range from closed to open
and decrease smoothly through the range from open to closed
5V means there is an open in the sensor circuit (that includes the wires & TPS)
0V means there is a short to ground in the sensor circuit (again that does include the wire & the TPS)
If you're voltage is dropping out of spec while the engine is running, check other readings also. If they drop also, then you have a charging system (or battery) issue. If only your TPS drops, then check the reference voltage at the ECU and see if that dropped as well, if so it may be the ECU failing. Check grounds, if they're all good, all your other voltages stay right key on engine off & engine on, and reference voltage at the ECU is right, then yes I'd imagine the TPS would be the next step (after you've checked the wires to the TPS).

Re: Is my TPS done?
i had a tps go bad on my del sol, when i would crank my motor it wouldnt want to start i would keep my foot on the gas to keep the revs up a little then it would run and the cel would come on, and the motor would idle at 1500
