I thought running a screen was better than running a filter

No restriction virtually

Why would surface area matter if its still going into the same 2.5" inlet, I could maybe see it working if you had a ram air type thing going

Tough to see, but it's the best shot I have right now. I took one of those rice Ractive filters with the plastic heatsheild around it... you know the ones that add up to 50whp? I removed the plastic heat sheild exposingjust the screen filter. it's much smaller than a normal cone filter and probably a K&N too.

anyone know if the apex'i one will fit? on the manifld above in a EG chassis ? (precesison SC32)

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Especially seeing that the Neukin manifolds have a slight angle to the turbo flange, you'll have a little more room to work with on the drivers side

SC61 w/ 3" inlet
