Thermal 3" exhuast
Do these things mounts to the stock cat?
Would I be safe to assume that on the b-pipe its going to taper down alot to fit onto the stock cat?
Thanks

Re: Thermal 3" exhuast (Calculator)
No your stock cat won't fit but it can be modified. I had a 3' flange put on to pass inspection and emissions, It was a bit too tight but it worked. I now have the down pipe flared to 3' as well as a 3' cat from summit.com and test pipe for the track.

Re: Thermal 3" exhuast (Calculator)
Thermal R&D features a line of exhaust systems designed for the Turbocharged Acura and Honda. These systems are made of 3" mandrel bent stainless steel pipe and require some slight modifications to your high-flow catalytic converter. We include an extra 3" flange for an easy installation of the exhaust system. These systems are a true 3" and will not connect to a stock catalytic converter.

What is this crap?
its a matter of opinion. they arent quiet, some people dont mind...it was too loud for me, but my car is going back to stock daily driver and i wouldnt mind it at all if it wasnt for the fact that i spent a few dollars putting a nice stereo in my car and i want to enjoy it.
for a turbo car its worth it. any 3" exhaust with the same flow capability will have the same noise level. flow and noise are directly proportional.

Re: (Blackack26)
Flex pipe will be will be installed on the Weds. I did the three inch cat and downpipe flare on Sat. Before that I was running the stock cat like this.
I'm running 7 psi, and I have run it hard about 10 times and no cracks yet, but I wouldn't recommend it with out a flex pipe like you say. I'll get more pics on Thursday.
