is there any symptoms of headgasket going bad??
Sup guys... I asked this question because I want to know if my HG is going to give up soon. Heres what happens, my engine's temp goes up when I keep my rpm to 3500-4000rpm on the freeway for about 30 mins, but, there will be times that it will not even move and stays at normal temp??? Its weird! I already changed the thermostat and today I will try to disconnect the water cooled in my turbo and test drive it again, maybe it adds up temp to my engine??? Also, I did a compresion check and it was all 180. Can anyone please help me figure out what my problem or is that a symptom to get ready for a new HG??? Any opinions are welcome. TIA!

Well if all your compression is 180 I dont think its the headgasket. Look at your coolant.....if it doesnt have oil in it or doesnt look mily look elsewhere. You might have a air pocket in the cooling system. Also check the thermo switch to make sure your fan is coming on. I dont think its your water pump.

Coolant is very clean and I start the engine for about 15 mins. to let all the air out. Fan is turning on properly, I dont know what else to do.... do you think its the water line in my turbo???
