Default Technically, what's wrong?

Ok, yes, I know it's best to have a MT w/ boost, not AT. However, aside from being able to row the gears to your liking, what exactly is wrong with having an auto+boost?

oem auto trannys aren't made to hold alot of power.

there is also more power loss through an automatic tranny vs. a manual tranny in the same car. also, for some, the size limitations on running the intercooler piping could be a problem. a couple people have boosted autos, quaddamage has, but then he converted.
