I have a full T04 with compressor side A/R: .60 and hotside of .69
The turbo hotside is too big for my 1.8L so I want to change it out. Can I run a T4 housing with a smaller A/R? or should I run a T3 hotside? How much will this cost? Should I just sell the turbo and get a T3/T4?
I can get a used one for $400. Is that a good deal?

youre better off with a t3/t4 dude.

 

i agree. if you can get one for 400 thats good but find out the spec first. or if you know of a turbo rebuilder they can fix what you already have. rebuild yours or sell it and buy one

 

thats not that big it will work just find on a 1.8
