Default best kit for gsr

on a daily driven gsr...im lookin for lots of power but driving these jersey roads i get frustrated at how weak my car is already in stock form. is the lag issues really that bad wit the bigger t3/t04 hybrids? i keep on also hearing bout the greddy limited power potential but full boost comes faster. i really like the revhard and fmax kits tho.

any ideas on which path i should take?

I was in this same quandry as you. People say that the tdo5 spools really quickly, well my freind has the kit on his Si and it doesnt hit full boost until almost 4000 rpms. Not exactly quick spooling. Couple this with the tiny 58mm downpipe and the kit lost it's appeal to me.

I had a JRSC. It was great ofr daily driving. Power in the low-mid was excellent, but IMO it wasn't going to get me as fast as I wanted. And I don't feel that the GReddy kit would be enough of an upgrade. So I have decided to go with a Drag kit.

I was gonna go with the greddy kit but I got a ride in one(civic sir) at 10 psi and I wasnt too impressed. I also got a ride in a t3/to4e turbod b16(10psi) del sol and I was blown away. It was way more powerful than the greddy kit.Thats why I am going with a t3/to4e. the turbos both have max boost at the same time aswell(for the t3/to4e 50 trim).
I m not saying the greddy sucks but you will have to boost more to get the same power outta it.

yea thanx for ur input guyz. thinkin it would be more fun to work wit a bigger turbo anyway. given the greddy was a street friendly turbo these jersey cops give no break for imports...esp. red integras saying 300hp doesn't come easy in the 18g turbo in its stock form wit the greddy kit. but then it is a baby turbo. im also thinking of a custom setup.

how would you like to hear about a ball bearring turbo kit?
bigger than greddy's(w/ an intercooler)
smaller than a t3/t4 (BB too!)
and it costs between 2300.00us and 3000.00

e mail me or IM me!

I've just popped an IHI F5 ballbearing turbo (from a 280HP JDM Impreza WRX) and i've noticed much faster spool-up times (1.2 bar/18psi at only 3500 rpm) and it pulls nearly twice as hard as my old TD05 did.. i'd say go for a BB turbo.. they kick ***

I dont like the fuel thing! and the fact that the turbo is internally wastegated.
how is it water cooled?

look up garrett turbo's about the water cooling and you can change the wategate ...to my knowledge. it is a mod. but....
here is the deal..
i dont like the stage one fuel thing too so all ya need to do is get 310cc's on your own and ask for a price minus the 5th injector or extra injectors setup.

it will save you money on the kit to drop the injector kit just watch your fuel.

by now we all know how to put together a custom kit, this is pretty cheap to build off of IMO.

lil changes and ya got something special!!!!
good luck ...hope i helped

BTW someone offer some input on water-to-air IC's. I feel it is a good thing and more productive but no BLING BLING medalion for the front of the car then
