Re: T3 60-1 Users Chime in! (GEN2 LS)
Please state which exhaust wheel. housing is only part of the story. this has been covered on another thread. please take another look.
Here's a general map on the b16 on the 60-1 using the larger P-Trim. This shows a good idea as to how efficient it will work. Translated: Unless you plan on a bit more top-end, this is a turbo that is not a favorite of the "torqueless wonder.

sorry it's this one! I just recently got some valvetrain work done, so I was reving to 8,300 before, now I want to rev to about 9,500 to have a little more powerband. I am running ITR cams.

What power do you want out of this? The turbo you posted uses the stage 3, not the P-trim noted in my information above.

I admit it...i drew the compressor map for the 60-1 and made it all up. Its a corporate conspiracy of epic proportions
I'm with you Mac, i dont know how it could be "fake"....inaccurate possibly, but fake, no

I read that on here in fact that there is a different 60-1 map, and that the map above isn't the real one.</TD></TR></TABLE>
That is the standard one that has been used for years. Is there ANY evidence to support your argument? If you don't that's alright, no one is going to bite your head off, but you stated something and since have had no response, so please elaborate or retract your statement. A "rumor" is hardly worth raising an eyebrow.

Lets see if this works
This was the image that I seen someone post of the real 60-1 map and that the one posted above was a fake one. I forget the specifics but I think I remmeber turbonetics or some company just taking a 62-1 map and modifying it a bit and called it a 60-1 map since Garret who I think makes the wheel never actually released a map for that wheel.
Just what I read is all. Not sure if its true. But just because that map is the industry standard and has been used for years, doesn't automatically mean that its the right one does it?</TD></TR></TABLE>
What you have there is the map based upon their housings from Innovative Turbo, who no longer exist as a company. The original 60-1 was used in the Bentley Continental GT in 1992. Though I wasn't with Honeywell at the time (Hell, I was a freshmen in High School), when I did work for them, this was the same old standard map used from a Peterbuilt truck in 1998. It is not by any means "fake" or fabricated.

Re: T3 60-1 Users Chime in! (Garage 808 Hatch)
my 60-1 .63 made 10 psi at 5000rpms on a stock ls motor. that turbo/motor combo sucked imo. too laggy and not enough rpms after it spooled

For an LS, that's not suprising at all.
