t25-fuel questions!

Default t25-fuel questions!

i bought a t25 tonight.its going on my y7 with 50,000 miles on it.fuel is the q.this is a daily driver.should i go fmu or go vafc or dsm 450 injectors?please help.

How much boost are you going to run? If you go with an FMU, you'll need an inline pump. If you go with 450s, you'll probably want an intank. You'll need an AFC or some other way to do fuel tuning just to idle the 450s, but you'll also need to trim fuel with the FMU setup as well, since it runs rich under boost. I'm sure most people here will tell you to go with Hondata though...

if you;re not running a standalone, YOU"LL need an FMU

FMU is the only thing that will keep you from leanign out...

450CC will not idle right with stock ECU, unless you have a VAFC or SAFC to where you can trim it out

but you'll still need an FMU and when you have an FMU you'll need an INLINE..

intank alone will not be able to push the fuel pressure needed by the FMU

If your only gonna run like 6 psi then just ditch the 450's and use the stock injectors, fmu and fuel pump.

I think he is referring to doing the 450CC/AFC "HACK" rather than the FMU, which is what I'm using right now.

It works good, and makes me wonder why they just don't stop making FMUs all together.
