need VAFC and FMU advice
sup guys??? i got a 00civicEX with greddy kit... my fuel system right now is just the Vortech FMU that came with the kit.. i'm guessing its 12:1???? anybody know what it is exactly??
here's the deal.. i wanna boost max of 8 psi... since this is all i want, i assumed that the VAFC and FMU will deliver enough fuel.. is this true??? what size disc shouldi use? do i need to change my FPR and Fuel pump??? i see lot of you guys go with standalone, i would love too but i dont thik its worth it for what im gonna use it for.... may be later on when im ready to build all the way... thanks

You want to push 8psi via the FMU route right? What size injectors are we talking? stock or 310cc? On stock injectors, I'd go with a 10:1 FMU, inline high pressure pump (80psi from the FMU + 45psi static = 125psi at full boost at the rail) .. on 310's you can step down the pressure to 8:1 and keep the inline. WHatever you do, don't push that intank Walbro past 75psi for safteys sake!! It may stand up for a little while, but given time it will quit flowing at high pressure!

I agree, and you could probably get away with out using a v-afc, as long as you don't go with injectors larger than 310. You could use an adjustable FPR to lower yous static fuel pressure to get them to idle.
