T-03 turbo questions
I'm planning to turbo my 1.6L dohc zc motor with about 6-8 psi and use a small intercooler. Would a T-03 turbo with a .48 A/R turbine housing and 60 trim compressor have too much lag, or would a 50 trim compressor be a better choice for the low boost I'm going to run? I would like the turbo to produce boost by about 2.5k rpm. This is for a street driven car, but there's plenty of long open roads where I live, so top end power is important as well... maybe more so.
Also, does the T-03 turbo from a 2.3L Ford/Merkur or any other T-03 have the exact same turbine mounting flanges as a Turbonetics T-03 (super 60)? The reason I'm wondering is I'd like to use a manifold and down pipe that is available for the Turbonetics T-03 Super 60 if possible. TIA
